Myriam Lamare (16-2, 9 KOs), who takes on Holly Holm (22-1-3, 6 KOs) for the WIBA welterweight title Jan. 23, in Albuquerque, N.M., has landed in Los Angeles for final preparations. Lamare will work under former pound-for-pound queen Lucia Rijker before heading to Albuquerque. Holm, meanwhile, continues her training under Mike Winkeljohn at Jackson’s/Winkeljohn’s. The Fresquez-promoted card will take place at Isleta Resort & Casino.
