Last Saturday night at Ponte Brenta, Padova, Italy, Devis Boschiero (34-1-1, 16 KOs) kept his European super featherweight title by unanimous decision (117-111, 117-111, 117-112) against undefeated official challenger Guillaume Frenois (now 31-1, 5 KOs). Next for Boschiero should be the World title. He’s ranked #1 by the WBC, #3 by WBO and IBF and should be #2 by the WBA as he beat Frenois the current #2. Boschiero already fought for the WBC super featherweight title in 2011 in Japan losing a very controversial split decision against then champion Takahiro Aoh. OPI 2000 (Salvatore and Christian Cherchi) promoted the show.
