Late Results from Argentina

Last Friday in the Club Estudiantes, Rio Cuarto, Córdoba, Argentina, WBA #5, WBC #7 welterweight Sebastian “Iron” Lujan (37-5-2, 23 KOs) retained his WBC Latin title with an unanimous decision over Jorge “Chino” Miranda (42-11, 16 KOs). On the same card, the former world champion Alejandro “Locomotive” Oliveras (21-2-2, 8 KOs) won by TKO in the sixth round over the Argentinean-Brazilean Alicia Alegre (7-6, 7 KOs) at super featherweight. Oliveras will fight for the vacant lightweight title WBA on Friday 12 August.
