Former #1 super featherweight Monty Meza-Clay (33-3, 21 KOs) scored a hard fought eight round majority decision over Emmanuel “The Butcher” Lucero (26-12-1, 14 KOs) on Saturday night at the 3 Rivers Casino in Pttsburgh, PA. Lucero poured in on in rounds two and three, but Meza-Clay took command late to win 78-74, 77-75 and 76-76. Meza-Clay won his fifth straight fight.
In the co-feature, unbeaten middleweight Lennox Allen moved to 16-0-1 with 10 KOs after a fourth round TKO of Michael “Midnight Stalker” Walker (19-15-3, 12 KOs). Walker is now 0-14-1 in his last 15 bouts.
