In a nationally televised bout, Samuel Colomban (21-6, 10 KOs) outscored Leti Leti (8-1, 8 KOs) over twelve rounds at the Southport RSL Club at Southport, Queensland Australia on Thursday to capture the WBF welterweight crown. Leti was born in Samoa but has been based in Australia since 2011. He has boxed in the USA and New Zealand.

In the main support Brent Elliott (9-3-3, 3 KOs) stopped Emanuel Micallef (2-10-3) in five rounds to win the Queensland state super featherweight title of a scheduled eight round bout.

In other action, welterweight Rivan Cesaire (11-3, 3 KOs) clearly outscored Alex Ahtong (8-19-5) over eight rounds.
