Letoa upsets Vlamis

Samoan light heavyweight Togasilimai Letoa (12-9-1, 7 KOs) caused a major upset when he stopped WBA #12 Manny Vlamis (11-3, 8 KOs) at 2:16 of round three at the Malvern Town Hall in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia on Friday. Also light heavyweight Callan Orchard (7-2, 2 KOs) outscored Lyndon Edney (3-3, 1 KO) over six rounds. In other action light middleweight Joel Camilleri (1-0, 1 KO) scored a knockout in two rounds over Thailand’s Yodmongkol Singmanasak (11-11-1, 7 KOs). Time 2:51. Light welterweight Terry Tzourmanis (6-0-3, 1 KO) boxed a six round draw with Addisu Tebebu (3-2-3). Middleweight Michael Hermann (2-1, 1 KO) outpointed Ben Capps (1-1) over six action rounds. Welterweight Craig Callaghan stopped Braiden Clardey in two rounds. Cruiserweight Pat Lynch (1-0, 1 KO) stopped Dale Berry (0-1) in two rounds. Time 0:51. Promoter: Peter Maniatis.
