Linares back to super feather?

Former world champion Jorge Linares could return to the super featherweight. Akihiko Honda, Roberto Diaz and Gilberto Jesus Mendoza met in Tokyo to discuss the future of “El Niño de Oro” and the victory of Mexican Gamaliel “Platano” Diaz against Linares’ Teiken stablemate Takahiro Aoh to take the WBC super featherweight world title opens the door to a possibility for Linares to challenge for that title. Linares has fought his last six fights at lightweight.
