The February 7th WBO super flyweight interim title fight between Jose “Carita” Lopez (38-7-2, 32 KOs) and Pramuansak Posuwan (45-1-1, 24 KOs) has been postponed until a firm date of March 28th. Lopez’ promoter PR Best Boxing’s Ivan Rivera released the following statement on the reason. “After carefully consulting with my team, Posuwan’s team, and the WBO, we have decided together that there may not be sufficient time for Posuwan to obtain his visa for the February 7th original event date. We had to make sure we made a professional and responsible decision out of respect to the fighters, the fans, and all parties involved,” stated Rivera. The entire February 7th card will be moved to the new date but the venue will remain the same. Fans who have already purchased tickets for the original date can contact TicketCenter at (787) 792-5000.
