Newly crowned IBO welterweight champion Lovemore Ndou contacted Fightnews shortly after his clear win over Phillip Ndou to issue a challenge to the winner of the Isaac Hlatswayo vs Delvin Rodriguez who fight for the IBF 147 belt soon. “It is great to be a world champion again after beating Phillip Ndou today. He gave me a good fight but my experience showed, and at the end of twelve rounds, I was a clear winner on the judges cards. Now I want the IBF welterweight crown. I am a former IBF junior welterweight champion and now I’m ready to defeat the winner of the Isaac Hlatswayo vs Delvin Rodriguez. I am confident that I will beat either of them after seeing tapes of them.”
“Also Anthony Mundine needs to be taught a lesson. He has a big mouth and I will shut it for him if he has the guts to get in the ring with me.nI am only a welterweight but would be happy to give away weight and fight him at middleweight poundage. We are both from Australia and hold IBO world titles so lets get it on.”
Lovemore will arrive back in Sydney as of Wednesday morning.
