Middleweight Patrick Majewski (19-1, 13 KOs) claimed the vacant NABF belt with a fifth round stoppage of Chris Fitzpatrick (15-2, 6 KOs) on Saturday night at Bally’s in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The bout was halted after round five due to a cut suffered by Fitzpatrick, who wasn’t happy about the stoppage.
In the co-feature, jr welterweight Naim Nelson (7-0, 1 KO) outpointed Esteban Rodriguez (5-2-1, 1 KO) over six. Scores were 59-55, 59-55, 60-54 for Nelson.
