Mansour-Guinn on Aug. 19

Heavyweight knockout artist Amir “Hardcore” Mansour (14-0, 11 KOs) will step up in class to face Dominick “The Southern Disaster” Guinn (33-7-1, 22 KOs) in a ten round heavyweight bout on Friday, August 19 at Dover Downs Hotel & Casino in Dover, Delaware. They will be fighting for the vacant IBF North American heavyweight title, as well as the interim NABO Inter-Continental heavyweight title. In the co-feature, Edgar “El Chamaco” Santana (25-3, 16 KOs) will take part in a junior welterweight bout for the interim NABA title against an opponent to be determined. Dover Downs Hotel & Casino is the promoter.

Amir Mansour has knocked out his last eight opponents, some of which had to be carried from the ring. The quality of his opponents has been gradually increasing, but he is still scoring spectacular one-punch knockouts like Mike Tyson did on the way up.

Can Mansour maintain his KO streak against a solid veteran like Dominick Guinn? He will certainly be tested, since Guinn has never been stopped.

“Queen” Ronica Jeffery (7-0, 1 KO) will face Ela “Bam Bam” Nunez (9-9-1, 2 KOs) in a female title bout. Nunez and Jeffery will battle for the vacant NABA light welterweight title.

Other fighters who are scheduled to appear on the under card in separate bouts against opponents to be determined include light welterweight “Rockin” Ryan Belasco (14-5-3, 3 KOs), light heavyweight Anthony Caputo Smith (10-0, 8 KOs), cruiserweight Dan “Bada Bing” Biddle (7-1, 5 KOs), cruiserweight Lamont “The Problem Solver” Singletary (1-0, 1 KO), and super featherweight Omar Douglas (1-0).
