WBA flyweight world champion Hernan “Tyson” Marquez (33-2-0, 25 KOs) and Filipino Fernando Lumacad (26-3-3, 11 KOs) showed their form during a public workout in advance of their clash on Saturday at the Palenque de Culiacan in an event called ¨Lethal Power¨ presented by Zanfer Promotions. “Tyson” showed his speed and power, while Lucamad showed quickness and slick moves. Their fight is a non-title ten-rounder. “I have to beat Lumacad convincingly, then we’ll see that there are very good plans for my career, but those plans are dependent on wins, so I have to do my part and win,” said Marquez.
In another fight, former WBC champion Tomas ¨Gusano¨ Rojas (38-13-1, 25 KOs) will face Manuel “Pajarito” Herrera (19-9-1, 13 KOs).
