WBA flyweight champion Hernan “Tyson” Marquez (34-2, 25 KOs) and WBO flyweight king Brian Viloria (31-3, 18 KOs) faced off Thursday at a press conference to announce their November 17 unification showdown at the famous Los Angeles Sports Arena. Marquez vowed to give the fight of his life, while Viloria said he plans to continue his winning streak against Mexicans and then go onto face WBA light flyweight champion Roman “Chocolatito” Gonzalez in March.
It was also announced Gonzalez (33-0, 28 KOs) will defend his, WBA title against Juan Francisco “Gallo” Estrada (22-1, 18 KOs) on the same card. Tickets go on sale for the next week at the Sports Arena Box Office and Ticketmaster.
