41-year-old female ring legend Christy Martin (49-5-3, 31 KOs) won the vacant WBC female light middleweight title via ten round majority decision over Dakota Stone (9-8-4, 1 KO) on Wednesday night at the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse, NY. Scores were 95-95, 98-92 and 99-91. The win came with a price, however, as Martin likely broke her right hand in the final round.
