Mexican contender Gabriel “Rey” Martínez gets ready at full blast for what undoubtedly is his toughest test, and at the same time the best opportunity to date in his career, when on July 30th he faces impressive undefeated Mike Alvarado. Aware of the quality of his opponent, Martínez (27-2-1, 14 KOs) is having a unique training, especially in strength conditioning, in the red-hot desert of his hometown of Empalme, Sonora, and claims that he will be ready to shock everybody against the feared Alvarado (30-0, 22 KOs) in his backyard.
