Matthew Hatton returns October 12

Coldwell Boxing’s October 12th show scheduled for The Bowlers in Manchester, England, has been boosted with the addition of former European champion Matthew Hatton. With full card set to be announced in the coming days, promoter Dave Coldwell said, “Matthew is a quality fighter and he’s someone I’ve admired for a long time. He’s fought at championship level for a long time now and he’s shared the ring with some of the sport’s best names including Ben Tackie, Saul Alvarez and Kell Brook. He’s got an IBO title shot set for early next year so he’s going to have an eight-round fight on our show in October and that should hopefully put him in a good place as he prepares for his next big opportunity.”
