Mayweather Jr weighs in at 150.3 lbs., already on weight for Canelo clash

WBC welterweight and WBA super welterweight super world champion Floyd Mayweather Jr weighed in Wednesday to comply with the regulations of the World Boxing Council requiring a 30-day weigh-in. Mayweather scaled in at 150.3 pounds, with 169 being the maximum allowable weight. Alvarez and Floyd Mayweather will collide on September 14 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Canelo, who weighed 166.8 lbs. must lose 14.8 pounds by the September 13 weigh-in date. Floyd is already under the 152 pound contract weight.
