Mayweather-Marquez in theaters

Golden Boy CEO Richard Schaefer announced today that the September 19 Floyd Mayweather and Juan Manuel Marquez will be available on HD closed circuit in 170 movie theaters across the nation. The event will be distributed by NCM Fathom. Tickets will be approximately $12.50-$15 each. The entire PPV event will be shown on big screens. The last fight to be widely shown in movie theaters was the 1996 fight between Oscar de la Hoya and Julio Cesar Chavez.
