Mayweather vs. Pacquiao twice in 2015?

Hall of Fame promoter Bob Arum told the San Francisco Chronicle that the long awaited confrontation between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather could happen next year. “Both networks want this fight to happen,” said Arum. “All signs seem to point to the fight happening early next year. There is a sell-by date, where it becomes ‘Who cares?’ It has to happen by the first six months of next year. And if it happens, there should be a provision with a different percentage for the rematch. So that the winner is rewarded for winning the fight. I would love to see these guys fight twice next year.”

Floyd Mayweather, however, was mum about the possibility of facing Manny. “As of right now I can’t say what the future holds for Floyd Mayweather,” said Floyd at a workout on Tuesday. “I can’t overlook Maidana. And I think that’s what happened in the Marquez-Manny fight. Manny was too focused on Floyd Mayweather instead of the guy that was in front of him. So as of right now, Manny Pacquiao is not my focus.”
