British junior welterweight champion Paul McCloskey (19-0, 9 KOs) has completely depowered overmatched Dean Harrison (14-2, 4 KO) to defend his title for the first time on Friday night in Widnes, England. Southpaw McCloskey decked Harrison hard in the first and then continued to beat him to the punch, making every round a painful lesson for his opponent. The referee waved it off after McCloskey landed another blistering combination on heavily battered Harrison in round four. It was a counter left hook in round one that put Dean down. McCloskey looked awesome tonight. He can be a major player at 140 lb.
