McKenzie stops Maccarinelli

Commonwealth light heavyweight champion Ovil McKenzie (21-11, 10 KOs) scored a highly controversial second round TKO against former WBO cruiserweight champion Enzo Maccarinelli (35-6, 27 KOs) on Friday night at the Olympia in Liverpool, England. After Maccarinelli laid on the ropes and absorbed some not particularly heavy punches from McKenzie, referee Ian John Lewis inexplicably waved it off to the surprise of both McKenzie and Maccarinelli.
