Former world rated Robert Medley (29-3, 19 KOs) will return to ring action against well credentialed American Jason “The Hammer” LeHoullier (21-3-1, 8 KOs) over twelve rounds at the Olympic Park Sports Center at Homebush Sydney, NSW, Australia on October 31. Medley, 6’0, gave Anthony Mundine the fight of his life in 2010 spotting him on weight after the former WBA 168 pound champion had agreed to make the 154 pound limit but came in too heavy. Former IBF welterweight champion Isaac Hlatshwayo also defeated Medley in 2007 and 2008, “Rob Medley is a much improved boxer than when Isaac Hlatshwayo defeated him,” said promoter Bill Treacy. “He gave Mundine a tough fight and has looked impressive in sparring sessions with Daniel Geale.” Treacy added, “American Jason LeHoullier has a very good record of 21 wins in 25 fights, so he should be a good test for Rob.” Televised on Foxtel Main Event Pay-Per-View Television. Promoter: Bill Treacy. Matchmaker: Garrie Francisco.
