Mendez-Reyes meet tonight
New York City’s longest running and most successful boxing series, Broadway Boxing, returns tonigh at the most intimate venue for boxing in the country, the BB King Blues Club in Times Square. In the main event, Argenis Mendez, who in his last fight won the USBA super featherweight title, returns to the ring in a non-title scrap vs. popular Broolynite Shamir Reyes. Just in time for tonight’s show, DiBella Entertainment has released a limited number of General Admission tickets at $55 which will be available for purchase at the door.
“In recent years, I can’t remember a response to one of our Broadway Boxing like the one we have received for this show,” said promoter Lou DiBella. “It is important for me to bring affordable boxing to New York City, and as such, it was important to release extra tickets at this price for fans to buy at the door. This show is a guaranteed sellout, so get there early and come enjoy a great night at the fights.”
The newly released tickets will only be available at the box office, which opens at 6:30pm. First bout is at 7:15. Advanced assigned seating at $75, along with select tables for groups of 5 are available to this otherwise sold-out show by contacting DiBella Entertainment at 212-947-2577.
Those scheduled to see action on the undercard include several of the most popular and exciting pugilists that the New York fight scene has to offer. All undefeated prospects and from New York, welterweight Gabriel Bracero, light heavyweight Joe Smith, Jr., and middleweight Willie Monroe, Jr. are scheduled to see action.
