Featherweights Monty Meza-Clay (28-1, 19 KOs) and Jorge Solis (36-1, 26 KOs) will collide January 31st in Guadalajara, Mexico to determine the IBF #1 contender spot. This was confirmed by Meza-Clay’s management on Thursday evening. Meza-Clay, who is ranked #2 by the WBO, #5 by the IBF and #11 by the WBA, was last seen in May stopping Omar Lizarraga in the first round.
