Mia St. John ends retirement

“I am UN-retired!” says 46-year-old former WBC female super welterweight champion Mia St. John, who hung up the gloves earlier this year. “[I’m] now training with the Diaz Brothers in Indio, California, gym of champion Timothy Bradley.

“Now that I am recovered from my surgery, I have decided to fight one more year. I love how Bradley fought in his last fight so the Diaz brothers were a no brainer!”

Mia retired after a third round TKO against WBC/WBA/WBO welterweight champion Cecilia Braekhus. She won the WBC title defeating Christy Martin in a rematch in August of 2012.
