ABCO #10 flyweight Rey Migreno Singwancha 18-20-3, 16 KOs) shocked the Thai crowd as he scored a third round TKO over Thai legendary fighter Pongsaklek Wonjongkam (87-5-2, 46 KOs) on Thursday at the City Hall Square of Nakhon Ratchasima Province, Thailand. After a close affair in the first two rounds, both fighters continuously exchanged vicious punches and finally the better man was Filipino Migreno who landed a well-timed right hook which sent the two-time WBC king to the canvas, then he displayed a one-sided attack which dropped the local hero again, forcing referee Nopparat Sricharoen to stop the bout at 2:06 of round three. Migreno captured WBC International flyweight title and also earned the biggest ever victory in his boxing career.

For 18 years, Fightnews.com® has delivered daily boxing news to fight fans around the globe. From the beginning, we have always kept Fightnews free to our readers and relied on advertiser support. Anyway, the Miami Herald, The Guardian, and Wikipedia among others have been using the “crowdfunding” revenue model, so we thought we’d test it too.

Please consider helping out. You’re not obligated to, but even a $1 pledge would really help. And if we reach our goal, we plan to upgrade our server and maybe even nuke the ads altogether. Wouldn’t that be nice?
