Three-division world champion Miguel Cotto said Thursday in Puerto Rico that in the coming days he’ll choose the opponent for his next fight on December 1, likely taking place at Madison Square Garden in New York. “We’re meeting with several companies to explore the options for the next event,” said Cotto. One possibility is Saul “Canelo” Alvarez, who will defend his WBC junior middleweight belt on September 15 against Josesito Lopez.
