Notre Dame Boxing Champion Mike Lee will return to the boxing capital of the world, Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday, February 26th, at The Palms Casino and Resort. The 23 year old Lee will be the featured undercard bout to the SHOWTIME-televised Lightweight World Championship between Miguel Acosta and Brandon Rios.
Undefeated as a light heavyweight prospect with a record of 3-0-0 with two knockouts, Lee returns to battle following a sensational first round knockout of Keith Debow on November 13th on the undercard to boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao’s world title bout at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
This will be Lee’s second appearance at The Palms Casino and Resort, having brutally stopped Alex Rivera with a devastating body shot in the second round this past September 11th.
As has become the custom at Lee’s professional bouts, a very large contingent of Notre Dame alumni and Chicagoland supporters will be in attendance on February 26th in Las Vegas.
Advance tickets to the February 26th event may be purchased by calling 877-530-4269 during business hours or after 5pm at 630-400-6380.
Following a short holiday vacation in his hometown of Chicago, Lee has returned to training in Houston, Texas under the guidance of world renowned trainer Ronnie Shields.
Lee graduated from the University Of Notre Dame in 2009 at the “top of his class”, with a degree in finance. He is a native of Wheaton, Illinois and a graduate of Benet Academy.
After winning the Chicago Golden Gloves, Lee was signed by boxing’s premier promotional company, Top Rank Incorporated.
