Miramontes new IBF ratings chairman

The IBF/USBA has announced that Anibal Miramontes has joined the organization’s staff and has assumed the role of Ratings Chairman. Miramontes has a vast amount of experience in the sport of boxing including working as a ringside official for numerous international and world title fights, he has been a member of the ratings committees for other sanctioning organizations in boxing and has served as a consultant for several boxing commissions. Daryl J. Peoples, President of the IBF/USBA, stated, “We are very pleased that Mr. Miramontes has joined the IBF in this capacity. His extensive knowledge of the sport will be an excellent asset to our organization.” Former IBF Ratings Chairman, William James, will continue to be a member of the ratings committee.
