Fightnews.com has confirmed that super middleweight contender Edison Miranda (32-3, 28 KOs) will return on a May 16 ShoBox telecast. “Pantera” will take on 2004 Olympian Andre Ward (18-0, 12 KOs). The “Pantera” Camp has agreed to travel to Oakland, California (Ward’s hometown) to take on the talented but largely untested gold medalist, who is stepping way up up in caliber of opposition.
