The bout between heavyweights Seth “Mayhem” Mitchell and Johnathon Banks slated for July 14 on HBO is off. Golden Boy announced the fight yesterday, but today it was revealed that Mitchell had suffered a hand injury in his win over Chazz Witherspoon and will not be ready. The bout was slated to be the main support for the clash between Amir Khan and Danny Garcia for Garcia’s WBC 140lb belt, which takes place at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.
