Former two-time world champion Byron Mitchell (28-5-1, 21 KOs) scored an impressive two round destruction of former number one light heavyweight contender David Telesco (30-7-1, 25 KOs) on Wednesday night at the Rye Town Hilton Hotel in Rye Brook, NY. Both fighters were looking for a knockout and Mitchell floored Telesco with a big counter right at the end of round one. In round two, during another heated exchange Mitchell connected with a left/right combination that dropped Telesco to the canvas face first. He was counted out at 2:01 of the second round.
