Looks like former two-time world champion Byron Mitchell (27-5-1, 20 KOs) will take on former world title challenger David Telesco (30-6-1, 25 KOs) on October 21st at the Rye Town Hilton in Rye Brook, New York. Each fighter is on the comeback trail. Mitchell’s comeback was derailed this past May when on just a few days notice he flew to Kazakhstan and was stopped in four rounds by then unbeaten future world title challenger Beibut Shumenov. Telesco after a four year layoff is coming off of a tuneup victory this past July.
