The main event this week on ESPN2′s Friday Night Fights will feature veteran Danny Perez (34-5, 17 KOs) of San Diego against Chicago residence Carlos Molina (16-4-1, 5KOs) in a bout being fought at the 154 pound limit. The site of the fight will be the Mahi Shrine Temple in Miami, Florida. Perez originally was supposed to meet former world champion Carlos Quintana but Molina will now fill in. Both fighters enter the bout on win steaks. Perez the winner of three consecutive bouts after more than 3 years out the ring and while Molina is riding an eight fight win streak.
