Molitor: Excuses are for losers

Former IBF junior middleweight champon Steve Molitor (30-1, 12 KOs) has lashed out at IBF #1 Takalani Ndlovu (30-5, 18 KOs), whom he faces in a rematch on March 27 at Casino Rama in Rama, Ontario for the vacant belt. Citing Ndlovu’s claims that he received “shoddy treatment” prior to his TKO9 loss to Molitor in July 2007, Molitor said “Excuses are for losers. He knew the routine coming in. Nothing has changed at all, and nothing will change. He got his head handed to him the first time, and he’ll get his head handed to him again.”

    Help Support®

For 18 years,® has delivered daily boxing news to fight fans around the globe. From the beginning, we have always kept Fightnews free to our readers and relied on advertiser support. Anyway, the Miami Herald, The Guardian, and Wikipedia among others have been using the “crowdfunding” revenue model, so we thought we’d test it too.

Please consider helping out. You’re not obligated to, but even a $1 pledge would really help. And if we reach our goal, we plan to upgrade our server and maybe even nuke the ads altogether. Wouldn’t that be nice?
