Moore and Kietyongyuth win

WBC #11 bantamweight Leon Moore (26-2, 22 KOs) of Guyana clearly outscored Marangin Marbun (19-6-1, 7 KOs) of Indonesia on Saturday at the Sun Tec Conventional Hall, Sun Tec City in Singapore, Singapore with the PABA 122 lb title up for grabs. Moore controlled the action in all the rounds and dropped his opponent in round six to win by scores of 120-107, 119-108, 118-109. Moore outscored former world champion Mauricio Pastrana in September 2009 and has been signed by Potter’s promotional company. Former world rated lightweight Saddam Kietyongyuth (19-0, 15 KOs) of Thailand returned to ring action and scored a second round stoppage Jong-Yoon Chai (6-0, 2 KOs). The Korean was dropped with body shots in round two and referee crowned Kietyongyuth. Thailand based Australian Promoter Daniel Potter said, “I am very happy with Saddam and Leon Moore’s performance.” Welterweight Ariel Barotillo (4-0-2, 3 KOs) outpointed Xu Cong Liang (7-0, 3 KOs) over six action rounds.
