Moorosi wins SA junior flyweight title

Thabiso Moorosi knocked out defending champion Mfundo Gwayana in the fourth round to win the South African junior flyweight title and also the vacant WBF Intercontinental light flyweight belt at the Mdantsane Indoor Centre near East London on Monday. Gwyana 17-7-3; 8 from Mdantsane was making the first defence of his SA title that he won in October this year. Moorosi 8-3-2; 6 from Ficksburg in the Free State who is ranked at number seven by Boxing SA dominated from the opening bell before he scored the knockout at 1 minute 49 seconds into the fourth round.
