The IBF welterweight title eliminator Between Said Ouali (27-3, 19 KOs) and Randall Bailey (41-7, 36 KOs) ended in a second round no contest. Bailey had Ouali down in round one and then again in round two. Then during a clinch in round two Bailey lifted Ouali over the ropes where Ouali fell to floor and was unable to continue. Both parties had their opinions on the fall but Ouali was taken out on a stretcher unable to move. From there he was taken to the hospital immediately to evaluate his neck . Randall Bailey’s manager Si Stern stated that Bailey’s promoter Lou DiBella has already filed a protest with the IBF. The request is that Bailey fight for the IBF world title in his next fight with Ouali being allowed to face the fights’ winner.
