More on Falcao-Rios double DQ + Video

As we reported, the highly publicized pro debut of 2012 Olympic middleweight bronze medalist Yamaguchi Falcao (4-2, 0 KOs) against Fidel “El Terrible” Rios (9-0-2, 3 KOs) in Brazil ended prematurely when, thanks to some overzealous refereeing, both fighters were disqualified for hitting after the bell. Interestingly, according to Falcao’s official Fight Fax record, he already has had six pro fights, including two losses. This is courtesy of his six paid bouts on the controversial “World Series of Boxing” circuit that occurred prior to his participation in the Olympics.

Falcao-Rios was supposed to air on FOX Deportes on Saturday night, but in the U.S. we ended up with replays of classic fights instead. However, video of Falcao-Rios has popped up on YouTube, so here’s what went down…
