A source informed Fightnews.com about the possibility that former WBA super featherweight world champion Vicente “El Loco” Mosquera (31-2-1, 17 KOs) could face former WBA 140lb champion Souleymane M’Baye (39-4-1, 21 KO) for the WBA interim super lightweight world title. Rogelio Espiño, representing Mosquera reported that Souleymane’s people are in negotiations with promoter Felix “Tuto” Zabala Jr. in search of a fight for the WBA interim title currently held by Pablo Cesar Cano. According to WBA regulations Cano must fight the winner of the clash between Joan Guzman and Khabib Allakhverdiev for the vacant full WBA world championship on November 30 at the BB&T Center, Sunrise, Florida.
