Unbeaten WBC #11/WBA #12 super lightweight Alberto Mosquera (19-0-2, 13 KOs) scored a ten round unanimous decision over Fidel Monterrosa (29-7, 23 KOs) on Saturday night at the Fantastic Casino in Panama City. Mosquera claimed the WBC Latino belt with the win by scores of 98-92, 98-92 and 99-91.
In another notable bout, lightweight Yoelvis Gamboa (8-1, 4 KOs), brother of former WBA champ Yuriorkis Gamboa, scored a fourth round stoppage of Jose Manuel Aguirre (3-4).
