Mosquera wins WBA Fedelatin in Panama

In a classic battle of youth vs. experience, unbeaten super lightweight prospect Alberto Mosquera (18-0-2, 13 KOs) won a unanimous eleven round unanimous decision over 37-year-old former world title challenger Miguel Callist (27-8-1, 18 KOs) to claim the vacant WBA Fedelatin title on Saturday night at the Arena Roberto Duran in Panama City. The bout was scored Octavio Rodriguez 106-103, Ricardo Duncan 106-104.5 and Alex Marin 107.5-103. The event was presented by Promociones y Eventos del Istmo.
