On September 1 at the Roberto Duran Arena in Panama City, promoter Rogelio Espino brings IBF world flyweight champion Moruti Mthalane of South Africa (28-2, 19 KOs) to defend his IBF title against hometown hero Ricardo Nunez (24-2, 20 KOs). The officials assigned to the title match are supervisor: IBF president Daryl Peoples (New Jersey), referee Kenny Chevalier (Maryland) and judges John Madfis (Massachusetts), John Poturaj (New Jersey) and Gary Merritt (Indiana).
