By Jeff Pamungkas

World rated super featherweight Roy Mukhlis of Indonesia (#5 WBC, #7 WBA and #10 WBO) defeated Thailand’s Vacharakrit Senahan via TKO in round 10 after Senahan decided to retire in the break between rounds nine and ten on Saturday at TVRI Studio, Jakarta, Indonesia. Senahan, a masters degree student in marketing at a university in Bangkok, was knocked down in round eight with a quick and sharp right hook to the chin. With this result, Mukhlis retained his super featherweight WBC International belt and extended his record to 23-2-2, 18 KOs, while Senahan, the IBF Pan Pacific champion of the division, dropped to 15-2-2, 7 KOs.

For 18 years, Fightnews.com® has delivered daily boxing news to fight fans around the globe. From the beginning, we have always kept Fightnews free to our readers and relied on advertiser support. Anyway, the Miami Herald, The Guardian, and Wikipedia among others have been using the “crowdfunding” revenue model, so we thought we’d test it too.

Please consider helping out. You’re not obligated to, but even a $1 pledge would really help. And if we reach our goal, we plan to upgrade our server and maybe even nuke the ads altogether. Wouldn’t that be nice?
