Unbeaten super bantamweight Mario “Yayo” Munoz (13-0-1, 10 KOs) scored a fifth round KO over former world title challenger Cecilio “Boga” Santos (27-23-6, 17 KOs) on Saturday night at the Arena Jalisco in Guadalajara, Mexico.
Super featherweight Miguel “Mickey” Roman 39-11, 29 KO) got back in the win column with a second round TKO over Alejandro Barrera (20-2, 16 KOs). Barrera was down twice.
In a women’s fight, Lucia Sanchez outpointed Karina Gallegos over four in her pro debut. Lucia is the younger sister of current female world champion Irma Sanchez.
