Murray confident he’ll beat Rios

Former European lightweight champion John Murray says he will be returning to England with the WBA lightweight title after his December 3 clash with world champion Brandon Rios on December 3 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. “I’m really confident I can do it,” Murray told the BBC. “Brandon Rios is a great come-forward fighter, same as myself, but I just think these weaknesses in his offense are something I can exploit and I’m ultra-confident I can win this fight and win the world title.” The bout will take place on the undercard of Cotto-Margarito.
