Unbeaten Fernando Guerrero (18-0, 15 KOs) will be taking on “Comanche Boy” George Tahdooahnippah (23-0-1, 18 KOs) as the main event on the June 25 ShoBox-televised card at Santa Ana Star Casino in Bernalillo, N.M. In the co-main of the Lou DiBella-promoted show, welterweight Lanard Lane (12-0, 7 KOs), of Philadelphia, who will take on Mike Dallas Jr. (14-0-1, 5 KOs), of Bakersfield, Calif. The card also features jr. lightweight prospect Archie Ray Marquez (10-0, 7 KOs), welter Vincent Mirabal (6-0, 1 KO), welter Josh “Pittbull” Torres (4-1-1, 3 KOs) and lightweight Fidel Maldonado (2-0, 2 KOs), all from Albuquerque.
The rubber match between former five-time champ Johnny Tapia (57-5-2, 29 KOs) and former contender Frankie Archuleta (26-7-1, 14 KOs) has been moved from June 12 to July 17, and will take place at the Ohkay Casino outside of Espanola, N.M. The two will fight for the vacant UBO featherweight trinket.
