Italian middleweight titlist Gaetano Nespro (15-5, 2 KOs) successfully retained his national belt for the third time last Saturday in Albano Laziale, Italy, outscoring local challenger Giovanni De Carolis (10-2, 3 KOs), after ten battler rounds of boxing. It was a give-and-take affair starting from the opening minute and both fighters showed great physical condition, young warrior De Carolis started the contest at a high pace, trying to bring the fight to Nespro, but the former IBF-Int challenger used an effective orthodox skill of boxing to gain the control of the clash and cruised to a deserved split decision win through scores of 96-94; 97-94 and 94-96. Boxe Forte Venice promoted the fight.(Thank’s to Stefano Fantogini of Boxenet)
