Former world title challenger Rey “Boom Boom” Bautista (26-2, 19 KOs) of the Philippines will still make his 2009 debut on October 16th but there has been a change of opponent. Bautista will now face Indonesian Marangin “Dinamita” Marbun (19-5-1, 7 KOs). The bout will be for the WBC International interim featherweight championship. Bautista, who last fought in November of 2008, has been sidelined with a wrist injury but has since had successful surgery. The well renown Ala Boxing Promotions based out of Cebu City of the Philippines will be the promoter. The venue will be the Waterfront Hotel & Casino in Cebu City.
