New opponent for Ajamu!

Returning light heavyweight contender Prince Badi Ajamu (26-3-1, 15 KOs), of Camden, New Jersey, will now face Youngstown, Ohio’s DeAndrey Abron (15-5, 10 KOs) on Friday, July 31 at Resorts Casino-Hotel in Atlantic City, New Jersey after Ajamu’s original opponent, Dallas “Deaf Pride” Vargas, suffered a training injury. Said Prince, “That’s the way boxing is, sometimes. I almost expected it.” Ajamu and Abron will box twelve rounds for Ajamu’s NBA light heavyweight title. In the co-feature, Timor Ibragimov (24-2-1, 13 KOs), of Tashkent, Uzbekistan and now Hallandale, Florida, will face Willie Palms (10-7-1, 5 KOs), of Jersey City, New Jersey in a six round heavyweight bout.
